This 30-story Tower which was designed by the esteemed architect Emery Roth was completed in 1927. Designed in the Italian Renaissance Style, this 172-unit structure is located a stone throw away from Central Park.
In this renovation we installed a new kitchen, installed new hardwood flooring, added layers of lighting and painted the walls a light grey. We also introduce some social decor via the vintage kilim pillows, the African stool, and the eco-friendly Gus Modern sofa.

This master bath and guest bath renovation is still on my top fav projects. The client and I really shared a love for deep black and crisp white marbles, creamy ceramics tile and modern light fixtures.

Today I’m up-dating my portfolio section on the site. Of coarse I wish I had more images of past projects, but that’s life.
This project really turned out lovely. We were on a tight budget, but I think it looks like a million bucks. Sometimes you can add a rich marble or shinny metallic to really enhance the space. Cabinets aren’t cheap as we all know or will soon find out! So be picky where you spend the cash!

Distressed wall finish! The wall above had a dark red tone before it’s beautiful transformation.

Portland Project II
Portland Project II is still juggling along. Above are progress pictures sent by the client. In the dinning area we found an amazing rustic table from Antiques and Oddities (http://www.antiquewholesale.net/) in Downtown Portland. We mixed the bench seating with two chairs from a different era. It adds more interest. We are still on the hunt for the perfect over head lighting.
The drapes are IKEA! Classic white cotton puddled on the floor. You can never go wrong when you go simple.
The armed side chair was a existing piece that the client owned. I have realized she has a Gothic undertone in her selections and style.
The Native American charcoal drawing, the mirror above the fireplace, and the tripod floor lamp was found deep in The Starr Antique Mall.
The Starr Antique Mall (http://starsantique.com/) was another amazing source located just outside of Portland.
The teal sofa was an amazing find on C-List! If you are not hip to the furniture or antique section on your local Craig’s List. Check it out!! You may have to dig, but normal people have some great deals on furniture, art, and decor. Don’t let the “weird” stigma detour you from a great find. I have met some very nice people while purchasing items on Craig’s List.
So, low and behold we are making some great progress on the project. The kitchen is next!
Thx!
